_____________________________________________________________________________________.”  On the way home, Mama stops at many black homes, trying to convince people not to _______________________

___________________________________________________________________________________.

Chapter 5 is about a trip to the small town of ___________________________ to sell butter, milk, and eggs.  The first sign of something wrong for Cassie is that their selling spot is ________________________

________________________________________________.”  She runs crying.  “No day in all my life _________________________________________________________________________.”

Chapter 6 finds Cassie still angry, and the kids back at home, where they find _________________
